Rachel and Daniel were planning their elopement at Silver Falls State Park and were almost forced to find a new location when the wild fires flared up nearby. We all watched the fire maps closely as they inched closer and closer to the park boundaries. Thankfully the firefighters worked tirelessly and the rains finally came, and the park remained untouched. So when we got caught in a deluge of rain on their wedding day, no one was complaining! Thankfully the rain held off during their sweet intimate ceremony at Upper North Falls and it wasn’t till we started taking some portraits that the rain really began to fall. Rachel and Daniel were incredible and hiked down to another falls with me despite the downpour.
