Maggie and Emery’s engagement session was full of laughter and silliness and snuggles and playfulness. All my favorite things about engagement photos, without the stress of a wedding day, you can relax and enjoy each other and go to some really cool places! It was so fun to explore a few of their favorite spots around Vancouver together! We first met at The Academy and then headed over to Fort Vancouver and then finished at the Salmon Creek Trail where they love to go watch the ducks on the ponds.
Each of these three locations provided something unique and gave their engagement photos a variety of backdrops and feels. The first spot, The Academy has such unique architecture and a cool brick building and even though you’re right off the freeway and very close to downtown Vancouver, it feels secluded and private.
Fort Vancouver is a huge park with lots of options, we were mostly interested in the wide open grassy fields and the orchard areas near the fort itself.
And lastly, Salmon Creek Trail had more of a natural forested area which they wanted to include since they love visiting this specific spot together. Maggie loves animals so it was cool to incorporate some of the ducks on the pond and also the geese flying overhead.
